I Finally Sat Down and Created This... Be Proud

As I sit here after teaching my second class on campus, all I can think about is how the girl in "Julie and Julia" felt when she wrote her first blog post about cooking through Julia Child's' cookbook. Who is out there listening? Am I talking to myself? Well I know for certain my mom will read this so, woot woot.

As you follow my journey on other social media platforms, this blog is here to pick up the pieces and answer questions that you may have. A lot of people told me they wanted videos, one person wanted a podcast, and I think like 3 people said to write... well guess what, I decided why not be well versed in everything. I have a passion for writing so why not do that. I mean writing did get me to where I am today, right?

I'll say/type this, I am a free thinker and a loudspeaker. As you go along with me on this journey I want you to remember a few things. 1. My name is Mecca and I love cheeseburgers. 2. God is real. 3. I am happily engaged to the thought of spending my life traveling the world and sharing my story.

The police almost took my phone for taking a picture in front of the U.S. Embassy :)
